Podbase is an image database specially tailored for scientific images.

Written in Java using the Play framework, Podbase is specifically designed to make annotating and browsing through images convenient for researches.

Podbase is currently running under the supervision of the Lenz Lab at University of Hawaii at Manoa and can be found at podbase.net
